I really need to explore The Met more on my next visit. My first trip there was in 1990 and my deep interests were far more narrow than they are now.
To note: The Smithsonian and National Galleries in Washington, DC are also free, which I deeply appreciate.

Seriously impressive photo!🎉
My fun reading rotation is Mick Herron’s Joe Country, Neal Stephenson’s Quicksilver (I brought this in this past week), and my mobile reading is Apple in China (I’m finding some odd conclusions that seemed a little more forced than they should be, but I am enjoying it).

Oh, Dopplr colors. The Dopplr blog is archived in the Internet archive. Dopplr discusses their use of colors for cities here: web.archive.org/web/20080…
There is a GitHub repo (not by Dopplr) that tries to echo their approach: github.com/banterabi… . Ian Kennedy blogged about Dopplr colors at the time: github.com/banterabi…
There is a really good post at optional.is: optional.is/required/…
Rodman’s Store in Friendship Heights, Washington, D.C.- it is like a global portal through an old school store

Finished reading London Rules by Mick Herron, so I can watch Slow Horses and not have it interrupt the book.
A few weeks ago I took this photo at the farmer’s market at one of the flower stands. I just added as my external monitor wallpaper when not in work mode and I find it quite calming.
This weekend is a large used book sale near me at a church, but also my favorite local independent book store member’s sale - www.politics-prose.com.
This week I realized my bookshelves are now full and needing to cull.
